Amato Opera - closing after 61 years?!
I have been meaning to go to the Amato Opera for years and Christa (thank you!) had an extra ticket for last night's production of "The Marriage of Figaro". It was a wonderful NYC experience and the four hours flew by. Tea and homemade cookies at the first intermission helped. I can't believe this place is closing after 61 years!
